The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They even personally showed us around the entire facility, which was a nice touch. The kitchen facility was wonderful and had everything we needed to cook our meals. Plus, we loved the cozy fire in the lounge area.

There were a few downsides to our stay. The kitchen was not as clean as we would have liked, with dishes not properly cleaned and food scraps left in the sink.

I recently stayed at Tailor Made Tekapo Accommodation and had a wonderful experience. My travel purpose was to explore the beautiful mountains, and I was delighted to find that some beds in the hotel offered stunning mountain views. The absence of bunk beds was a nice change, and I appreciated the clean and well-organised kitchen. The room was a lovely size with a super comfy bed, and all the facilities were great. Additionally, the hotel's animal rescue and protection initiative was commendable.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were impressed with the attentive owner/receptionist at Tailor Made Accommodation. He gave us a personal tour of the property, including the adorable rabbits! He also provided helpful recommendations for nearby attractions. Despite limited parking, we found plenty of spots outside. The location was ideal for exploring the area.

It had a strong smell of BO, and the curtains were dirty with small holes. The bed was in really bad shape, leading to a sore back.
